What the Tour generator does in the app
You pick the start on the map. Turning and stretching the dial's handle sets direction and length, then you choose Relaxed, Twisty or Very twisty. The app tries many tours on real roads and shows the best three.
- Pick one of eight directions or leave it open in every direction.
- Set the length in kilometres, miles or hours.
- Leave out motorways, tolls and unpaved roads, or favour tours over a mountain pass.
- Browse viewpoints, food, camping and bays along the tour and add the ones you like as stops.
How it differs from the web route generator
In the route generator in your browser you draw the tour and send it to your phone with a QR code. In the app you edit the tour directly, ride it with navigation and save it. Both use the same planning logic.
